Bomb Threat Near Library of Congress Causes Evacuation

U.S. Capitol Police are investigating an active bomb threat at The Cannon House Office Building near the Library of Congress.

The Cannon House Office Building, a congressional office building, and the Library of Congress were evacuated this morning due to a "suspicious vehicle" in the area, as reported by ABC News.

WJLA shared that the vehicle drove onto a sidewalk on 1st street and the driver could be seen holding an object in their hand.
