The NFL is still in its off-season, but the Baltimore Ravens are leading in one important stat category -- arrests.
Cornerback Jimmy Smith became the 5th Ravens player to be arrested this year after he failed to obey police orders. Police say Smith was helping an intoxicated woman in the restroom of a bar in Towson, Maryland and refused to let medics near her. He then became argumentative with police and was placed under arrest. He's been charged with disorderly conduct. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital.
He's the latest Ravens player to be placed in handcuffs since the beginning of the year. Others included running back Ray Rice (assault), offensive lineman Jah Reid (battery), wide receiver Deonte Thompson (marijuana possession) and running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (disorderly conduct). (ESPN)
