Health officials and our doctors are constantly hounding us, trying to get us to exercise more.
Well, they actually have very good reasons.
Here are some amazing differences exercise makes in your life:
- 56% of non-exercisers say they get fairly or very good sleep. This jumps to 83% for regular exercisers.
- The average resting heart rate is 60 to 80 beats per minute for a sedentary person. It drops to 40 to 60 for people with a solid exercise habit.
- The average calorie needs for women who don’t exercise is between 1,600 and 2,000 calories per day. Women who exercise regularly get to enjoy 400 more calories each day.
- Exercising regularly adds about four years of life expectancy. (Huffington Post)
