Ian Ziering is holding out for more money before signing on for Sharknado 3, but sources say producers are ready to toss him overboard.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "Ian did the work and is fantastic, but it’s not Avatar. The stars of the movie are the sharks, and they’re not even real." The actor, who admitted he did the first flick only for the paycheck, was paid $400,000.
The sequel was a ratings hit with nearly four million people tuning in, but another insider says, "Ian needs to be careful how he plays this. If he asks for too much, he will be the first victim to be cut. The network execs are worse than any shark."
Snarknado 3 will be released next summer.
