Here’s some bad news if you’re planning on taking a road trip this Fourth of July weekend …
It looks like gas prices will be at their highest levels since 2008.
Prices will average $3.68 a gallon for regular-grade gas – up 17 cents from last year.
While it’s still below the record price of $4.11 we were paying just after July 4, 2008, the prices today are still ugly.
On one hand, it’s OK to get angry at the oil companies for dipping their greedy, grubby hands into our wallets.
On the other hand, we all know that there’s all sorts of political trouble in Iraq, which is messing with the price of oil – which we end up paying for.
