Robin Williams was "devastated" when his TV series The Crazy Ones was cancelled after one season.

Sources tell TMZ Robin saw the cancellation as a "personal failure" and it sent him into a "deep depression" that led to his suicide last week.

The insiders say his Parkinson's disease wasn't as big a factor in his depression as his failed show. One source says, "Robin was told by doctors the medications were so great he wouldn't even start to show symptoms for six or seven years."

Meanwhile, the anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church announced that they will picket Robin's funeral, most likely because he played a homosexual in the 1996 movie The Birdcage. Robin's widow, Susan Schneider, is planning an intimate memorial.
