Fifty Shades of Grey doesn't hit theaters for another seven months, but the some folks are already up in arms.
The Parents Television Council blasted the Today show for airing the raunchy flick's first trailer yesterday morning. The family-values watchdog accused the show of promoting "mommy porn." The organization also claims the movie romanticizes sexual violence and asks, "Do we really want our sons to become Christian Greys, practicing a violent masculinity that degrades men as well?"
The council is pushing for the movie version of E.L. James's erotic novel to be slapped with an NC-17 rating.
