When your office is driving you nuts, you may slip into the fantasy of being able to work from home, among the peace and quiet of your bed / couch / porch swing.

But working from home isn't all it's cracked up to be.

A new study from the Council on Contemporary Families says that people are actually more stressed at home than at work.

The reason why working in an office "works" is because the deal is clear – you slave away at your desk for a certain number of hours and then you're compensated with money.

But when you work from home, you have a million other tasks to get done and there's no escape – you're already home!

So consider this next time you're about to barge into your boss's office and demand a satellite work situation ... you just might get it.
