Drinking wine isn't something you usually equate with a hospital stay. But in France, these two things are about to get intertwined for a very good reason.

The Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital will soon be opening a wine bar for their terminally ill patients who wish to imbibe in their final days.

And the doctor who came up with the idea makes a very good case for it.  She asked, "Why should we deprive people reaching the end of their lives of the traditional flavors of our land?"

The bar will also have tastings for whiskey and champagne.
