Ladies' Home Journal, one of the leading women's magazines for more than 130 years, is folding.

It's parent company, the Meredith Corporation, announced that the July issue will be its last. Ladies' Home Journal, like so many other print publications, will continue online. It will also become a quarterly special interest publication that will be available on newsstands beginning in the fall. The decision to fold also means the layoff of the magazine's entire editorial staff. Subscribers will instead be offered one of Meredith's other magazines like Better Homes & Gardens and Good Housekeeping. (New York Times)
