Cut Your Grocery Bill in Half...Without Using Coupons!

Do you use coupons? I don't. I honestly don't have time to clip and save. According to a recent survey, 28% of grocery customers say they can't be bothered with coupons...while 15% claim they're a necessary evil.

Here are 8 WAYS YOU CAN SAVE ON GROCERIES WITHOUT COUPONS:

1. Buy bags and bundles: You can save 18-percent simply by opting for a 12-pack of Chobani yogurt instead of purchasing individual cups. And five pounds of potatoes were 36 percent cheaper when bought bagged vs. loose. This trick also works for household items like pet food and soap.

2. Order cold cuts at the counter: Cold cuts sliced at the supermarket were up to 31-percent cheaper than commercially packaged versions of the same brand.

3. Hit the discount rack: Fresh fruits and veggies often are perfectly good, marked down to clear space for scheduled produce shipments. Other sale items might just be slightly out of season or recently discontinued by the manufacturer. Just double-check expiration dates to ensure you'll use the product in time, you could save 50 percent.
