Kyle Carpenter, the Marine who jumped on a grenade to save a friend, will reportedly receive the nation's highest military honor when he's awarded the Medal of Honor at a yet-to-be-announced ceremony at the White House, according to the Marine Corps Times.

The retired Corporal was injured in Afghanistan in 2010 and is the third Marine since 9/11 to receive the Medal of Honor.
