General Mills Recalls Flour for the Second Time This Year

Not again! This is the second time General Mills has had to recall their Gold Medal flour for possible e.coli contamination. Gross. How does that even happen? I guess unclean surfaces. Well, if you have General Mills Gold Medal All-purpose Flour in your pantry you are going to want to double check the lot number and expiration date.

Here's an excerpt from Cooking Light magazine with the recall information:

The tainted flour is in five-pound bags stamped with a "best if used by" date of September 6, 2020, according to the FDA. Shoppers should be able to find the product's UPC, 000-16000-19610-0, somewhere near the barcode on the exterior of the bag.
