Alana Andrews is a 15-year-old author, motivational speaker from Loudoun County. The Potomac Falls High School sophomore self-published her second book, Creating Confidence, in 2018.
The book is a compilation of journal entries that reflect on life lessons from her supportive family. Andrews says the book has helped her when faced with negativity.
But she doesn't stop there. Andrews is the CEO of her business, So Positive. It provides products and services that teach young girls the importance of self-love.
She learned what it takes to be an entrepreneur while enrolled in the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce’s youth entrepreneur academy. Students in middle and high school learn to develop business ideas, pitch and launch a business themselves.
Amazing!
