The Number of Cups of Coffee Your Body Can Actually Handle

I love this picture, because it pictures two of my favorite loves, plants and coffee. I will save my love of plants for another blog, but coffee is one thing I 100% cannot live without. I could go without alcohol, meat and even dessert if I had to, but without coffee, I would essentially be a worthless human being. I am 100% addicted. Before I feed Camilla (cat) and Lia (dog) in the morning, I first need at least 3 big sips of hot coffee to wake up. I pushed off blood work for months trying to find a day when I could fast, therefore not having coffee in my system until after the test was administered. (side note, apparently you can drink black coffee before a fasting blood test and it won't affect your results! Big win, in my book) The article below finds that 3 to 5 cups of coffee a day, are safe for consumption. YES! I'm in the clear!
