MAP: Closures This Weekend in DC Due To Juneteeth Demonstrations

It's another weekend of Black Lives Matter protests and demonstrations in DC, and a very special weekend for it as Juneteenth was celebrated on Friday. Juneteenth marks the day that last slaves were freed, who were living in Texas. This is even more significant as it was over two years since the Emancipation Proclamation was released. This year there are many peaceful protests and demonstrations planned for this Juneteenth weekend, which began on Friday morning in DC. That being said, there are also a number of road closures and parking restrictions as a result. These restrictions and road closures went into effect early Friday morning and are set to be in place through late Monday night. There is a map on the link below. Stay safe!
