A woman, from Northern Virginia, with hair over six feet long cut and donated it last week. And while it is amazing to give back to those who may have lost their hair she was also able to set a new Guinness World Record in the process.
Zahab Kamal Khan set the record for a new category: "most hair donated to a charity by an individual." She and her dad have dreamed of this day since she was a young girl.
I bet you are wondering how Khan was able to grow her hair to such amazing lengths. First, Khan's last haircut was when she was 13 years old and she credits her grandmother's oil for helping keep her hair healthy. She applies it twice a week.
She has decided to donate her hair to children with hair loss.
