8 students at C. Paul Barnhart Elementary School in Waldorf, MD fell ill today after consuming edibles on the school's property.
Sources tell WJLA that a student brought the edibles to school with them and shared them on the playground. The children became sick after consuming the edibles and emergency services vehicles were rushed to the scene. The last one left the property at approx. 2:25PM.
All of the students who were involved went home to their parents and/or guardians.
It is unclear how old the affected kids are, but the school hosts classrooms from kindergarten through 5th grade.
