MYM: MD Couple Plans to Care For Hundreds of Families Over the Holidays

A Maryland husband and wife had a dream to help their community and after many years of planning and working toward that goal, their nonprofit is now a reality and helping thousands of families.

ComunIBuild Foundation Inc. was developed by Barrington “Bo” Scott II & Charisse Callender-Scott. And their embracing hands reach families in so many ways -- everything from residential housing and commercial business development to food and health services.

During the holidays, the non-profit is highlighting its Care For 30 campaign. They are caring for 100 families every 30 days, and they are calling on the community to help donate, volunteer, and contribute.

You can support a family for $50 dollars a day, $350 dollars a week, $700 dollars for two weeks, and up to $1,00 dollars for the entire month.

The program will run from Nov. 25 to Dec. 25. To learn more, head to their website!

We had the privilege to talk to Coach Bo and Charisse this morning about their program! We share a feel-good story for our segment Make Your Monday every Monday at 7:40!
