Will Smith's classic sitcom is being rebooted with a dramatic take by Peacock and the trailer has arrived!
As we meet the new version of the characters we love, we can't help but notice some key differences 👀 When Will, played by Jabari Banks, arrives to the mansion in Bel Air he is greeted by Geoffrey. But instead of the sarcastic and mildly petty butler we knew in the 90s, his demeanor is much more upright and he doesn't look like he'll be giving into Will as easily. Uncle Phil physically is much trimmer than we're used to and Carlton is...cool? Aunt Viv, Hillary and Ashley seem similar however.
And you know that one little fight where Will's mom got scared, so she sent him to his auntie and uncle in Bel Air? We get a sneak peek of that in the trailer with scenes of punches, a gunshot and Will ultimately in jail.
