Boss Under Fire For “Passive Aggressive” Note About Use Of Company Toilet

When you gotta go, you gotta go, and the fact that you are at work and not at home isn't going to stop you.  But one boss has some distinct thoughts on what should and shouldn’t be done in the office bathroom, and they're being blasted for how they went about sharing those.

A user on Reddit has shared what’s being described as a “passive aggressive” note in a company toilet, in which a boss ordered their staff not to do a number two in that specific toilet.

“This Bathroom is for #1 ONLY. Please respect the others that work in this office,” read the message. "If you need to do anything else, please use the bathrooms upstairs on in the Annex." The note ended with a poop emoji.

  • Many folks on social media were in complete shock that a boss would need or have the nerve to post such a directive.
    • “Ridiculous. Use the bathroom like responsible adults. Get a fan, open a window,” one person noted, while another added, “Clean up after yourselves. Sounds so simple.”
  • Meanwhile, many pointed out that the letter was just asking for office workers to plot their revenge.
    • “I would make it my life goal to s*** something hideously foul in there daily," one person shared, while another felt the same way, noting, “I would literally hold in my morning s*** just to poop there.”
  • But not everyone was against the poo banning.
    • One person commented, “I do know, I feel like the designated pooping bathroom should be part of new hire orientation.”
