It's not just any 3-day-weekend, it's MLK Day weekend which means there are a number of ways to gather with your neighbors to give back to the community.
Traditionally MLK Day is always a day to serve others, since that's so much of what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood for and wanted for our country. Whether it's a blood drive going on in DC, a YMCA cleanup project in Maryland or one of the many other events taking place throughout our community this weekend there are opportunities for residents of all ages to get out and do the work MLK had dreamt would unify our country
