Bruno Mars took his 24K Magic World Tour to Auburn Hills, Michigan Saturday night - and announced he would donate a million dollars from the show's revenues to help nearby Flint deal with its ongoing water crisis.
The singer made the announcement 80 minutes into his show during a performance of his hit "Just the Way You Are."
In a statement, Bruno commented: "As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again."
The money will go to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. The problem with contaminated water began back in 2014 and has yet to be resolved.
Flint is about 40 miles from the concert site, the Palace of Auburn Hills.
