Charlie Puth has kicked off the year with both good and bad news for his fans.
The bad: His highly anticipated sophomore album is getting a delayed release. Charlie said on Twitter that because he is fully producing this album alone, a lot of work has to go into making it to his standards and he doesn't believe that it is "perfect" yet. BUT we can still expect to hear it this year!
So I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I have to push the album release date. I’m producing this album all myself and with that comes a lot of work, and in my opinion, the album is not perfect yet. However, it will still come out this year, and soon.— Charlie Puth (@charlieputh) January 4, 2018
The good: We'll be getting a sneak peak at the new album TODAY because he will be releasing a song that he did with the legendary Boyz II Men to make up for the wait! He claims it's one of his "favorite songs [he's] ever written" and now it's just a matter of how long we have to wait today for this song to drop.
But to make it up to all of you, here’s the good news. I’m putting out a song I did with Boys II Men tomorrow. And it’s probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. Love you guys and thank you for understanding.— Charlie Puth (@charlieputh) January 4, 2018
