EMERGING ARTIST RECITAL THE NATIONAL OPERA CENTER

Companies from across the U.S. present recitals featuring competition winners and the most promising young singers from their training programs at The National Opera Center in New York City.

Catch a glimpse of opera's up-and-coming talent on Friday, November 9, when two of Wolf Trap Opera's Filene Artists — mezzo-soprano Megan Mikailovna Samarin and tenorIan Koziara — take the stage of the National Opera Center, accompanied by WTO pianist/coach Joseph Li.They'll present a program of songs, titled "Vocal Colors," inspired by works of art from the Phillips Collection. Featured composers include Schubert, Schumann, Grieg, Fauré, Elgar, Berg and Sibelius.
