The National Weather Service is forecasting possible slick conditions for the Friday morning commute from a quick coating of snow that could fall across the Northern and Western areas of the Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD metro regions.
This slight winter storm threat will occur mainly west of the I-95 corridor, with heavier amounts possible towards the hills of Virginia and West Virginia.
Any snow that falls is expected before 10am before changing to a mix of rain and show throughout the day. Temps are expected to rise to the upper-30s with accumulations in the immediate DC/Baltimore area of less than half an inch.
The rain and snow is expected to end before midnight Friday, clearing partially during the overnight hours.
