Starbucks Reveals When The Pumpkin Spice Latte Will Return

Pumpkin Spice Latte season is almost here, y'all.

Starbucks *finally* revealed when the Pumpkin Spice Latte would be returning to stores for the upcoming fall season. Even though it's still summer for another month, PSL fans are ready to get their latte on. Luckily, the deliciously autumnal drink will be dropping very soon. Pumpkin Spice Lattes will be available at all Starbucks locations beginning Tuesday, August 27.

Instead of doing a big, dramatic rollout for the PSL announcement, Starbucks quietly revealed the 2019 return date on Twitter. "It's official. PSL returns 8/27!" Starbucks wrote alongside a cute, animated video that will without a doubt make you feel ready for fall.

It's a good year to be a PSL fan, too. This is the earliest the fan-favorite beverage has appeared on the Starbucks menu, according to Business Insider. Last year, the PSL dropped August 28, while in 2016 and 2017 it didn't return to Starbucks' menus until September 1. Imagine waiting until September for that sweet, sweet pumpkin spice? No, thank you!

Though its most popular form is a hot latte, customers can order an iced pumpkin spiced latte, too. Since it is dropping in August, this might be the best option until temperatures start dropping a but. Customers can also grab a pumpkin spice-flavored Frappuccino. If you're not down with a latte, you can request that the barista put some pumpkin spice sauce into your plane iced or hot coffee. So many pumpkin spice options, so little time.

Are you excited for PSL season?
