Rebel Wilson Reaches Her Goal Weight After 'Year Of Health' Journey

She did it!

Rebel Wilson celebrated a major health milestone this month after hitting her goal weight. After embarking on her personal “Year of Health” journey to wellness earlier this year, the Pitch Perfect superstar took to Instagram to announce that she reached her weight loss goal of 75 kgs (about 165 pounds) one month sooner than she expected.

“Hit my goal weight with one month to spare!” Wilson captioned a picture of a scale on her Instagram Stories. “Even though it’s not about a weight number, it’s about being healthy, I needed a tangible measurement to have as a goal and that was 75kg’s.”

As anyone who has been following Wilson’s health journey knows, the actress altered her fitness and dieting routine with hopes of bettering her physical health. She’s been training with Jono Castano all-year long and has been documenting her wellness quest on social media.

In a January 2 post, Wilson announced: "Okay so for me 2020 is going to be called 'The Year of Health' - so I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I've just had but I'm going to do it! Who's with me in making some positive changes this year?"

Weeks before hitting her goal, the Isn’t It Romantic? star told E! News that her “Year of Health” journey is all about living a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

"For me, the big thing was looking at my emotional eating and why I was doing it, and working on the mental side, which for me comes down to self-love really," she told the outlet. "It's so hard to teach someone about that...I don't think I've arrived at some final destination yet."
