The coastal flooding currently happening in the DC/Maryland area is proving to be significant and in reaction to keep students safe from the effects, Prince George's County Public Schools released this statement:
All schools are closing one hour early today due to inclement weather and all evening activities are canceled. Offices will be open for regular business hours.
The National Weather Service expects the rainy conditions to last through Saturday afternoon.
