Can I travel back in time to when I was a girl scout so I can earn this patch?!

Betty White's legacy continues to live on and the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore are paying tribute to her by presenting scouts with the opportunity to earn the Betty White patch! They are hosting an Amazing Woman of the Month Patch Program, which highlights a notable woman each month and encourages participants to learn about their accomplishments via activities. Once the activities are completed, you get the patch!

Timing wise, January was already set to honor the late, great Betty White prior to her passing on New Years Eve. Heather Coburn, the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore first shared that White would be honored on Dec. 20.

It was shared that originally only 712 people had signed up to participate in January's program but since her death, that number has increased to over 2,000. Anyone can sign up for just $10 here.

Other women who have been recognized in this program are Shirley Chisholm, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
