We are used to Starbucks adding drinks every couple of months, but they are often only for a limited time and rarely stick around. Well, not anymore. The company just announced that for the first time in 16 years, two brand new Frappuccinos will become permanent fixtures to the Starbucks menu.
The Ultra Caramel Frappuccino and the Triple Mocha Frappuccino just debuted on Starbucks menus in the U.S. and Canada, alongside the classic Caramel and Mocha Frappuccinos. The Ultra Caramel Frappuccino is made with the chain’s new Sweet Brew Whipped Cream, and features dark caramel sauce, dark caramel coffee, milk, ice and smoky dark caramel drizzle. Meanwhile the Triple Mocha Frappuccino also has the new Sweet Brew Whipped Cream, and features dark mocha sauce, coffee, milk, ice and dark mocha drizzle.
As you can imagine, neither of these are all that healthy for you. If you get the 12-ounce Ultra Caramel Frappuccino with whole milk it will contain 350 calories, 44 grams of sugar and 17 grams of fat, while the same size Triple Mocha Frap with whole milk is a tiny bit better at 320 calories, 37 grams of sugar an 16 grams of fat.
