My son Donato has been into coding and robotics for a couple of years now. He's only seven...so I know his interests will probably change MANY times by the time he becomes an adult. I also know that he was diagnosed with ADHD last year, so it's hard for him to focus on things he doesn't care about. I don't know much about coding, but Donato's most recent hobby is definitely something I could get into.
I was in the kitchen a few days ago while Donato was fiddling around on his iPad. Just as I started making dinner, I heard some music playing in the background. It was EDM (electronic dance music). So, there I am dancing while sauteing some mushrooms on the stove when I ask Donato where he found the song from. He tells me it's called "On the Roof." I just assumed he had found it on YouTube or something...but it turns out it was HIS creation. He was playing around on an app called GROOVEPAD and produced the song himself. Now, he provides me a soundtrack to dance to while I'm cooking every night. LOL.
