Did you know that New Kids on the Block were the first pop music artists to perform at the Superbowl? Up until 1991, the NFL always invited different marching bands from schools around the country to do the halftime show. They decided to liven things up for Super Bowl XXV, and asked the biggest pop group of the time to perform.
