BO Detector Measures 3 Potentially Objectionable Smells


In the heat of summer, you might have a little problem with perspiration – especially when wearing your work clothes. Leave it to the Japanese to make sure you’re not offending your office-mates.

A tech company there has created a phone-size BO detector called Kunkun (after the Japanese word for “sniff”).

The goal is to prevent sumehara…or “smell harassment.”

The device can distinguish three different kinds of sweat smells…and may warn that “Immediate care is needed!”
