Ending of "Titanic" debate: James Cameron comments

The argument has been going for 20 years now ("Titanic" came out in 1997 and I remember so vividly the first of FIVE times I went to the theater to see it!)...the floating piece of wood that Rose climbed onto was SURELY big enough for Jack, too.  There was actually even an episode of "MythBusters" devoted to this theory.  Well, when you listen to Director James Cameron explain how there's no way Jack could have survived doing what he would have HAD to do to keep the wood afloat...it all makes sense.
