“Late Late Show” host James Corden wants to make it clear; he is happy with his current time slot.
Rumors continue to swirl that there is a plot to take over “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” In March’s “Esquire” magazine, Corden stresses “It just seems sort of silly to me. I really love him.”
And look no further than CBS CEO Les Moonves for proof nothing is being planned. They’re very successful in different ways,” Moonves told the magazine. “The Internet has changed all that…. It’s almost an old way of thinking.”
As if on cue, last week Colbert beat out Jimmy Fallon for the number one late night rating crown. It was the first time doing so since taking over for David Letterman.
