Update: Katy/Taylor feud may not be over!

UPDATE:

Maybe Katy Perry and Taylor Swift aren't ready to make nice after all.

It looked like the feud was over once and for all after Katy extended a real olive branch to Taylor...but Katy got her claws out when Taylor took a screen shot of the note Katy wrote and sent along with the branch, and posted it on Instagram -- that blindsided the apologetic star.

A pal of Katy's tells Britain's Sun “Katy expected that Taylor would post something about it, but she didn’t expect the actual letter to go on social. It looks like Katy’s taking sole responsibility for the entire feud. Without context, it looks like she’s taking the blame for everything and obviously there’s a lot more to it than that.”

The “Bad Blood” feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry is officially over.

Taylor shared on Instagram the literal olive branch she received from Katy, who sent the gift on opening night of Taylor’s Reputation Stadium Tour.

The hand-written card read, (quote) “Hey old friend, I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and the feelings between us. I really want to clear the air.”

The remainder of the Katy’s note is obscured in Taylor’s post, but the next line starts with “I'm deeply sorry for...” Taylor captioned the video with heart emojis and added the message, “Thank You Katy.”

As a reminder, Taylor accused Katy of trying to sabotage a tour by stealing backup dancers. Katy escalated the feud by calling Taylor a “Regina George in sheep's clothing.” Taylor wrote “Bad Blood” about their rivalry. And this season on American Idol, Katy gave a backhanded compliment about Taylor, (quote) “I love Taylor Swift. I love her … as a songwriter.” (Billboard)
