"Young & The Restless" star found dead

Kristoff St. John , the actor best known as Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless , was found dead yesterday (Sunday) inside his home in California. He was 52.

St. John had starred on the long-running soap since 1991. TMZ reports that his friend stopped by to check on him and found him dead. Police say there were no signs of foul play but that alcohol may have been a factor. In 2017, police were called to his home when he threatened to shoot himself. He lost his 25-year-old son Julian  to suicide in 2014. 

I watched "Y&TR" for years and this news saddens me. May he rest in peace.
