A dog food company in the UK called Tails has given us “Raise the Woof!” this holiday season! Tails says it is the first-ever Christmas song for pups and that it was written and recorded based on studies which show positive responses from dogs when they hear certain sounds.
Over 500 different sounds were played for a group of 25 dogs and in the end, we have a reggae beat that includes human commands, doorbells and high-frequency sounds that our dogs can hear but we can't!
According to one animal behaviorist...“Signs that dogs are enjoying the track include alertness, trying to discover where the sounds are coming from, head cocking, or moving their ears to get a better listen, as well as tails wagging."
