One of the most blockbuster deals in recent history has reportedly gone down in baseball. Three-time Cy Young winner - and a beloved Nats star - Max Scherzer has been dealt to the Dodgers!
One of the most coveted pitchers in baseball is now heading out west along with another fan favorite, teammate Trea Turner, the Nationals All Star shortstop. Washington gets four minor leaguers in the deal but for LA—their chances to repeat as World Series champs just went through the roof with this one!
In addition to those Cy Young’s, Scherzer led the Nats to their only World Series title. He now gets to shore up a Dodgers rotation that has serious concerns given the Trevor Bauer situation. And Turner is stepping into a situation where he can immediately fill in for injured Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager. But let’s be honest, the big fish in this deal is definitely Scherzer. And he's about to set his two, big colorful eyes on the Giants and help erase that three-game lead they have in the NL West. It’s about to get wild out west!
