See the new Queen Elizabeth Barbie!

The maker of Barbie is celebrating the Queen of England's 70 years on the throne. Mattel just revealed a Queen Elizabeth the second Barbie on its' website, while championing the longest-ruling monarch in British history. The doll is described as wearing "an elegant ivory gown and blue riband adorned with decorations of order." She's complete with a crown and matching accessories. The doll goes for 75 bucks.

And today, Queen Elizabeth is celebrating her 96th birthday in a quiet setting.

She traveled by helicopter to her estate at Sandringham where she'll be joined by family and friends. The country estate is where Prince Philip spent much of his time until his death a year ago.

Buckingham Palace released a photo showing the queen with two ponies, reflecting her lifelong interest in horses. Queen Elizabeth the Second was born on April 21,1926 and she ascended to the throne at age 25 when her father, King George the Sixth, died unexpectedly in February, 1952.
