NYC Subway Asking Riders to Stop Dancing on Subway Poles in Latest Campaign


The New York City Subway is tired of all the performances happening on their trains.

In a video that now has over 900K views. User, @mcchicken666, shows a video playing in the NYC Subway showing a stick man dancing on a pole with text saying

"Poles are for your safety, not for your routine"
"A subway car is no place for showtime."

The video itself is hilarious and many users in the comments are doubtful this will discourage people from performing on the subway. New York is KNOWN for its subway performances.

So I don't know if this new safety campaign will actually work but it was a hilarious effort. You can see the video down below.
