We just never got around to it! Eleanor is over 3 years old, with beautiful, long strawberry blonde hair and yesterday was her first ever haircut. The reason is my father is a barber at the Westwood Barbershop in Bethesda, and we were trying to bring her there so one of his co-workers could cut it, but they are always super busy and the hours don't work well with my work schedule. My friend Yanni cuts my hair and comes to my house (pardon the mess in these pics, we were moving things around and cleaning) so we finally found a day when both my husband and I were home and Yanni was free. Eleanor was a trooper!! No tears, no reservation, she was awesome. She mentioned she wanted to cut her hair shoulder length like moms, but mom needs baby steps. We started with just a little trim :)
