It's true. I skydived from 14,000 feet. I repelled through waterfalls on our honeymoon in Costa Rica. I repelled down a 17 story building in Wilmington, DE to raise funds for Special Olympics, BUT this weekend we rode up a mountain in a car and I was convinced the car was going to lose control and we were going to tumble down the mountain.
Question for you... DOES THIS HAPPEN WHEN YOU BECOME A PARENT?! That's the only thing that makes sense to me! I did all this risk taking BEFORE I was a mother and never thought twice about being unsafe.
I'm not a "helicopter parent" either, but I was so worried with the snow on the ground Eleanor could slip and tumble right over!
Needless to say, I won't be jumping out of any planes in the near future.
...pretty view, though ;)
