Video From Ellicott City Flooding Goes Viral

posted by Sabrina Conte @sabconte -

This is just incredible.  My heart goes out to those affected by the flooding AGAIN in Ellicott City.  This beautiful little town has gone through too much over the past few years.

Another piece of history in Ellicott City, gone because of the flooding on May 27th.

The original Howard County Courthouse was destroyed during last week's flood. In memory of the courthouse, this is one of the photos we have of its renovation in 1974. It was originally located on Fels Lane, but was moved to Ellicott Mills Drive to avoid demolition when the Fels Lane-Mercer Street complex was demolished. It served as the county courthouse from 1840 to 1843. #ECStrong #HoCoHistory #ECFlood #MDHistory #HoCoMD #LocalHistory #VintagePhoto #EllicottCity #HowardCounty #howardcountyhistoricalsociety
