Two Kids Bit in Shark Attacks On The Same Stretch of Beach

This is crazy! Two kids bit off the same coast of Fire Island in New York.  I lived at the Delaware Beaches for 7 years and never experienced a shark bite, but plenty of people caught smaller sand sharks while fishing.  Not sure what kind of shark this was, but the tooth they took from the boy's leg is smaller than my puppy's teeth!  Scary regardless of the size and I'm sure it was pretty painful too!

Be careful where you swim. A boy and a girl were bitten by sharks on Fire Island today, in two separate incidents. 🚨 . . The boy, 13, was boogie boarding at Atlantique Beach when he was bitten, and stumbled out of the ocean. A lifeguard ran to him, and first responders found he found a tooth lodged in his leg. . Meanwhile a girl, 12, was waist-deep at Sailors Haven when she was bitten. She had deep cuts on her leg. . . The town of Islip has banned swimming at all of its ocean-facing beaches. More details on our website! 🏖 . #fireisland #shark #sharkbite #sharkattack
