I can still remember the first time I saw Rolling Thunder as a kid. My parents and I always spent Memorial Day weekend in OCMD and I was in the back of my parent's car on the ride home when I heard, and then saw all of these motorcycles drive past us on US 50. My dad explained to me that Rolling Thunder was a motorcycle movement to commemorate and advocate for prisoners of war and those missing in action. I am sad to see this is the final year of Rolling Thunder , but am so glad to know the tradition has been alive for over 30 years.
