Here we go! The Nationals are in the World Series and the series starts tonight! Almost everyone in the DMV has caught Nats fever including the guy who plays the bells at the National Cathedral (look back to older blogs to see him playing 'Take me out to the Ballgame'), the National Symphony Orchestra playing 'Baby Shark', and now the National Park Service renaming the National Mall to the Washington National's Mall! The curly W in the picture isn't actually mowed into the lawn, but it certainly does look like it at first glance! The National Parks service does clear up any confusion with the new name, stating that the rename is both temporary, and unofficial... but it is fun!
