This is the best idea! My husband and I have been talking to our daughter Eleanor about donating to those less fortunate and we just cleaned out the toy bins over the weekend to give to kids who maybe won't get as many presents this year as others. That being said, we also talked about shopping for kids whose parents may need a little help affording some of the presents on their Christmas list and explained how "Toys For Tots" worked. This "Reverse Advent Calendar" idea is a great plan to give to those in need this holiday season, and to make sure you slow down to celebrate the spirit of the holidays.
