Say it ain't so! This would be horrendous if it impacts holiday travel! We travel to upstate New York every Thanksgiving. It's a 7 hour drive WITHOUT traffic. Ugh, I so dread the drive this time of year because 9 times of out 10 it's also snowing. This snowstorm that is developing in the Midwest could certainly affect travel the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Could you imagine how horrendous that would be? Not only that one of the busiest travel weekends, but it would be complete gridlock if a major snowstorm hit at the same time! Not to mention, I would be stuck at my in-laws in upstate New York! Too cold!
